A padded anatomic headpiece helps reduce pressure over the poll and allows more freedom around the ears. The Figure 8 noseband encourages better airflow by keeping the horse’s mouth closed without restricting the nostrils. A soft, padded center disc (often fleece or leather depending on the model) protects the bridge of the nose from rubbing.
